Well it isn’t that simple. I like both, for different reasons. I grew up watching Tom Baker as the Doctor, and as a result that holds a great deal of nostalgia for me. I think David Tennant is probably my favorite Doctor, and certainly the effects now allow them to do a lot of things that they really couldn’t back in the old days. I will say my all time favorite episode is from the new series, it is the episode “Blink” which introduced us to the Weeping Angels. I think that episode has it all, great writing, acting, and really creepy villans. If I was forced to choose I would say the series with David Tennant (10th doctor) is my favorite.

Agreed. I am really rather excited about iCloud. It seems to me to be the right type of implementation. I love the fact that it isn’t an application environment…everyone else seems to want you to run your apps i the cloud…Apple is taking a different tact in using it as more of a file management/connectivity implementation. I can easily see myself using iCloud a lot…not so much for the other types of cloud environments. I am looking forward to the wireless syncing in iOS 5 as well. Disappointed in a lack of hardware…but I liked this keynote.

So it seems to me they are looking at all machines being touch machines? I cannot imagine that interface working very well on a standard KM setup. Personally I think I prefer the Apple model of having an iOS for the phone/tab touchscreen market, and a more traditional interface OS for the other machines. I would agree it looks cool, but in reality again its about functionality. I guess it remains to be seen how it operates using a “standard” interface. Also it will run legacy apps, but will it run well on/with legacy hardware?

Space travel has never ceased to amazed me. Those are some incredible pictures. I can’t imagine seeing the Earth from that angle. It’s got to feel amazing.
