Ever since Windows Phone 7 (WP7) was released last year, the sales statistics have been somewhat underwhelming. Despite the low sales, many analysts continue to push this platform claiming it will be the way of the future. Now, to entice buyers during the holiday season, Microsoft is giving away $25 in free apps with every Windows phone purchase. Maybe this will help WP7 catch up with the popularity of iOS and Android… but I doubt it.
