Earlier this month, IKEA announced plans to begin integrating home electronics into their furniture. Now they’ve made the tech news again… twice in one month, but this time its for something far more simple. IKEA just unveiled a cardboard digital camera known as KNAPPA. It literally is made of cardboard, but is still fully featured. The device is powered by 2 AA batteries and holds approximately 40 photos on the internal memory card. Excited to buy one? Well… too bad. They won’t be selling the KNAPPA in stores. They will however be giving small quantities away at selected stores. The idea is to use your KNAPPA to take pictures of your other IKEA products and upload them to the company’s community site.
