Earlier this morning, Cricket Wireless announced that they will begin selling iPhones on June 22nd. Like their other handsets, Cricket will offer the iPhone with a prepaid calling plan. This move not only represents the 4th major wireless carrier to adopt the iPhone, it also represents the first contractless iPhone offering. Unfortunately for prepaid fans, this version will not sell for $199. They will have to pay the full $499 for the 4S since there will be no contract discount. Cricket will begin taking pre-orders on June 15.
