Smartphone Users And How They Differ

AdMob did a recent survey of mobile OS users. They surveyed 963 smartphone owners across three different mobile platforms: Apple iPhone, Google Android, and Palm WebOS. The survey found some interesting trends. For instance, the majority of Android users are men, where the distribution was much more even on the other platforms. Younger people overwhelmingly chose Apple over Palm. IPhone users are the most likely to purchase one app per month, but they are also the most likely to download free applications. Palm users are less likely to recommend their phone to a friend, and iPhone users are the most likely to buy an iPad (a big duh on that last one huh? icon wink Smartphone Users And How They Differ ).
