Apple Pay Is Off To A Slow Start

Last week, Apple released iOS 8.1. The update included several bug fixes, the much anticipated return of the camera roll, and most importantly… the debut of Apple Pay. Over the last week, we’ve heard conflicting reports about the new service. Some are good, and others are bad, but it’s hard to overlook the fact that two major US pharmacy chains have disabled Apple Pay in their stores. There has also been a lot of opposition to Apple Pay’s privacy policies. Many are saying the app is not private. Still, many analysts are saying blocking the service would be a mistake. Obviously, there is more coming, but the product seems to be off to a slow start.
