WhatsApp Suspends Users For “Unofficial” App

WhatsApp, the maker of the popular messaging app, has suspended some accounts for using “unofficial” client apps. The company, which was purchased by Facebook last year, discovered many of its costomers were using the WhatsApp Plus app, which is not affiliated with WhatsApp in any way. While this may seem like sour grapes, WhatsApp claims unofficial apps can compromise the privacy of their users. Luckily, the suspension only lasts for 24 hours. Suspended users should be able to continue using WhatsApp soon… as long as they don’t try using WhatsApp Plus. icon wink WhatsApp Suspends Users For Unofficial App
