Google Glass Is Getting A Makeover

Just over a year ago, we reported that Google was partnering with Luxottica to redesign the frames for their iconic augmented reality glasses. Earlier this year, Google ended the Glass Explorer Program, but they promised the product was not dead. Today, Google confirmed the partnership with Luxottica and claimed some great new designs are in the works. Undoubtedly, having the Italian eyeware maker on board with decrease the “dork factor” of the existing product. They also announced the next version of Google Glass should arrive in early 2016.
