Facebook Messenger Gets E2E Encryption

Social network Facebook just announced they’ll be adding end-to-end (E2E) encryption to their popular Messenger app. This echoes what WhatsApp did earlier this year that led Brazil to block them for 72 hours. Facebook is making an effort to address the plethora of privacy concerns in today’s social media society. This is one they can cross off the list.
