Amazon Echo Can Now Lock/Unlock Doors

Amazon released the Echo almost 2 years ago. A little over a year ago, they released an Alexa developer kit. This software allows third parties to integrate their products with Amazon’s tiny smarthome device. As of today, electronic locks from August can be activated via the Alexa framework. In plain English, this means you can ask Alexa to lock or unlock all the doors in your house (provide they’re August lock equipped of course). It’s pretty cool… but its also kinda scary.
