Self-Driving Taxis Arrive In Singapore

Uber made headlines earlier this month as they prepare to deploy a fleet of driverless cars in Pittsburgh. However, they are not the first one to do this. A company called nuTonomy has already started a public trail of their self-driving taxis in Singapore. Rest assured though, there will be a human observer in every taxi for the duration of the trail. The computer will have control of the car, but the observer can override the controls if a problem is detected.
