US Air Force Starts Windows 10 Upgrades

Remember earlier this year when the US Navy stated the majority of their ships are still running Windows XP? Originally, the Navy had planned to upgrade everything by 2020, but following a Department of Defense (DoD) edict, they moved this date up to January 31, 2017. Things have transpired since, but the DoD is sticking to their timelines. Similarly, the United States Air Force (USAF) officially started a project which will result in all of their PCs running Windows 10 by January 31, 2018. This will put them a year behind the DoD, but considering the number of computers they support, it’s a reasonable timeline.
