Raspberry Pi Unveils Compute Module 3

Raspberry Pi has been making small affordable Linux PCs since 2012. Products like the Model B and Pi Zero have been targeted at consumers, the company is also going after manufacturing customers. They’re latest release, the Compute Module 3, is perfect for these applications. The tiny device is the same size as a DDR2 SODIMM, but features a 1.2GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, and 4GB of flash-based storage. This could give manufacturers an easy method to add a fully functional computer to existing electronics.
