NASA Gives Us A Pre-Independence Day Aerial Display

Next week is the 4th of July which is the holiday that celebrates American independence. As a precursor to this event, which is normally celebrated with aerial displays, NASA decided to create some strange clouds over the East coast. It was part of an experiment to study the way particles travel through the Earth’s ionosphere, and the chemical reaction yielded some strange vapor clouds over Virginia. Viewers on the East coast could see the display yesterday morning.
