BlackBerry Software To Power Self-Driving Cars

BlackBerry’s once great mobile phone business has shrunk to a niche market. However, the company is still working on various software projects for enterprises. A recent article on The Register indicates the company may be targeting the automobile industry now. Reportedly, Delphi Automotive, a maker of self-driving car parts, has selected BlackBerry’s QNX operating system to power their autonomous platform. Delphi aims to create a turnkey autonomous automobile software solution with QNX at the center. Is this BlackBerry’s second coming?
