Asteroid To Whiz Past Earth Next Week

On October 12, asteroid 2012 TC4 will fly between the Earth and the Moon. Scientists estimate the space rock is between 30′ and 100′ across or about the size of a house. TC4 will pass by at a distance of approximately 27,000 miles which is “damn close” in scientific terms. The asteroid will pass Earth again in 2019 but at a distance of approximately 21 Million miles.
