Apple Makes Statement About Spectre/Meltdown

Yesterday, Microsoft issued an emergency patch for Windows to protect against new vulnerabilities known as Spectre and Meltdown. Apple made a public statement about the flaws and they’re essentially telling customers not to worry. Though many Macs, iPads, and iPhones with Intel-based processors are vulnerable, the Mac maker wants users to know several of their platforms have already been patched. They also noted that the Apple Watch is not vulnerable. For the amount of press this topic has been getting, Apple’s response seems kind of unenthusiastic.
