Google Announces Android P

Google is making an update to it’s popular Android mobile OS. The new version, known simply as Android P (full name yet to be revealed) will focus on user privacy and security. If an application attempts to use the camera or microphone while in the background, Android P will warn the user and give them the right to cancel this activity. Essentially, Google is cracking down on snooping apps. A beta version of the OS is currently available for download, but the official release date has not yet been announced.
