Apple Education Event Wrap Up

Apple held an education-focused event earlier today in Chicago. The event revealed new iPads (starting at $299), a new development framework called ClassKit, and a new Schoolwork app for teachers and students. The event also yielded a new program to bring more developers to macOS/iOS and discounts for iCloud users. Apple CEO Tim Cook even addressed the recent Facebook privacy issues stating the company’s strong support of parental controls. It wasn’t an exciting event for everyone, but educators certainly saw some great stuff.
