Uber Wants To Build Robotic Flying Taxis

Most of us remember when Uber announced plans to put robot taxis on the streets in Pittsburgh in 2016. Most of us also remember when Amazon announced plans for delivery drones in 2014. Well now these two ideas are coming together. Earlier today, the company revealed a new prototype of a flying robot taxi. Yes, you read that correctly. They want to take to the air with passenger carrying drones. The pilot (no-pun intended) program is slated for 2020 and like the cars, there will be a human operator in the early stages.
