However, the company just revealed a new 64-bit design and its specifically built for Windows PCs. The Snapdragon 850 is slightly larger than its predecessors and runs at a smokin’ 2.96 GHz. It supports 4K video and should last up to 25 hours on a conventional laptop battery. It is said to be optimized for the modern Windows operating system. It will be interesting to see benchmarks on these systems.
