IGTV To Battle YouTube?

Photo sharing app Instagram may have plans to battle YouTube and others. The company recently released their IGTV service, which allows users to share videos up to 1 hour in length. There’s no doubt that YouTube has frustrated many of its users and it could be time for an alternative. The social network is banking on that. Coincidentally, most analysts to not expect IGTV to make money for the first few years, so it will have to rely on ad-based revenue to pay the creators.
