Instapaper Buys Itself Back

In 2013, Betaworks bought a startup named Instapaper, which had a simple app which allowed users to save articles for later review. In 2015, Pinterest bought the app from Betaworks looking to integrate the technology into their product. Now, Instapaper is again independent as the company announced they’ve separated from Pinterest. They even praised Pinterest for an amicable deal. This is a bit unusual in the age of tech conglomerates, but hey… it’s good to see everyone happy.
