Google+ Is Shutting Down

Seven years ago, Google released a social media platform known as Google+. It was an attempt to compete with Facebook, but it never caught on the way Google had hoped. Earlier this week, the company announced they’re shutting it down next year. The move is a result of a data breach that affected Google+ users. Google announced they’ll continue to support the platform through the end of August 2019 when it will be shut down for good.
