Detroit Auto Show Focuses On Technology

CES 2019 wrapped up in Las Vegas last week, but the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is kicking off in Detroit. Commonly called the Detroit Auto Show, this event is typically held the week after CES. However, 2019 will be the last year for this. Starting in 2020, the show will take place in June. Interestingly enough, a lot of automobile announcements were made at CES last week and there have already been a slew of technology-related announcements at NAIAS. Even though one is about technology and the other is about automobiles, they are overlapping in a few areas. This could be part of the reason for the date shift, but the Detroit winter may also have something to do with it.
