Boeing’s Space Taxi Is Almost Ready For Launch

We started following the space taxi project back in 2010. At the time, Boeing thought it would be reality by 2015. The firm showed off a demo model in 2013, and gained a NASA contract in 2014, but the dates have consistently been delayed despite ISS installing a ‘parking space’ in 2016 (depicted above). However, it’s day has almost arrived. Boeing expects the CST-100 spacecraft to perform it’s first test flight next month. They are predicting first actual trip to ISS will happen this summer.
