Tesla Decides To Raise Prices Rather Than Close Stores

In February, Telsa announced they’d be switching to an online-only business model. This move would result in them closing 200 stores around the world. However, it would also include a 5-6% cost savings which would be passed on to the consumer. The company recently changed that stance stating in a blog post they will only be closing about half their stores. Additionally, the auto manufacturer will raise vehicle prices by about 3%. So, they went from no stores and cheaper prices to some stores and more expensive prices. Interesting move.
