American Airlines Adds Broadband WiFi To US Flights

American Airlines has rolled out new WiFi broadband Internet to its fleet of single aisle aircraft. This includes all Boeing 737 and Airbus A319/A320 variants. In other words, most of the planes used for domestic travel. The satellite-based Internet connection is said to deliver near broadband speeds in the sky.  Alas, the service is not free of charge. Passengers will need to purchase a Gogo plan or pay by use.
