TVs Go Vertical At CES 2020

For the last decade or so, each CES show has revealed a trend of larger, higher-resolution, thinner TVs. While there was a limited amount of that this year, it seems TVs have gotten about as large and thin as they’re going to get. This year’s trends dealt more with styling and features. Samsung’s bezel-less 8K TV would be one example. Samsung released another type of TV known as Sero. It rotates to a vertical orientation and changes the display mode accordingly, reminiscent of a huge smartphone. It is said to be the TV of the digital generation, but we’re not sure there was a huge market for that.
