Tech Conferences Cancel Amid Coronavirus Worries

Mobile World Congress (MWC) was cancelled after major firms backed out with coronavirus worries. Following this, several major players pulled out of Game Developers Conference (GDC). This week, it was announced that GDC 2020, scheduled for March 16-20, has been cancelled due to fears of a coronavirus outbreak. To top off this trend, Facebook also cancelled F8 2020, which is their annual developers conference. The event was not supposed to take place until early-May. 2020 is shaping up to be a bad year for tech conferences.
