Last month, we reported an asteroid was set to pass Earth during April. Well, that day has come… er… came. 1998OR2 zipped past our planet this morning around 5:56 AM EDT. Scientists estimate is was over a mile in size and moving at almost 20,000 miles per hour. If you were an early bird skywatcher, you may have caught a glimpse of it.
