If all goes well, SpaceX will make history this week with a mission called simply Demo-2. The firm has plans to execute their first manned mission to ISS on Wednesday afternoon. The launch is currently scheduled for 4:33 PM EDT. The Falcon 9 rocket will lift off from Florida propelling the Dragon crew capsule into orbit. Inside the capsule will be 2 NASA astronauts, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley (pictured above). If the mission is successful, it will be the first private sector manned spaceflight to ISS. Additionally, this will be the first US-based mission to put crew members in orbit since 2011. Wednesday will be a big day for NASA and SpaceX.
