SpaceX is about to send one of their Falcon 9 rockets into space with a payload of satellites. The launch is scheduled to take place at 9:42 EST today. The rocket will carry dozens of satellites from several different firms including SpaceX, NASA, and DARPA. SpaceX calls this their Rideshare program. It is an initiative that allows multiple firms to launch satellites with a single rocket.
