Amazon: Kindle Books Are Outselling Paper Books

Amazon unveiled the Kindle e-book reader in 2007.Over the last five years, there have been several e-book readers released from manufacturers like Sony, Barnes & Nobel, and others. Yesterday, Amazon announced that Kindle books sales have finally exceeded paper book sales at a rate of 105 to 100. In other words, for every 100 paper books Amazon sells, they sell 105 Kindle books. Wow… it only took five years for e-books to take over a medium that’s been around for centuries. That’s either amazing… or sad… I’m not sure which.
