Microsoft Spending Millions To Push WP7 To Carriers

According to recent reports, Microsoft is spending millions of dollars to train sales staff at all the major phone carriers. The purpose of the training is so they understand Windows Phone 7 (WP7) and can better sell it to consumers. It appears that Microsoft is trying to catch up to Android and iOS, the clear leaders in the smartphone arena. They feel the carriers can better sell the phones if they truly understand the capability. Meanwhile, HTC’s latest Windows-powered phones, the Titan and Radar (shown below), are set to launch in October. Both of these new phones will run Microsoft’s latest WP7 “Mango” operating system.
