Sony Posts $2.1 Billion Loss

Earlier today, Sony posted their Q4 numbers, which showed a $2.1 billion loss. After similar announcements from Verizon and Nintendo, these kinds of numbers are becoming less of a shock. In fact, Sony has been “in the red” for almost 4 years now. Despite the losses, they recently appointed a new CEO, Kazuo Hirai, with hopes that he can turn things around. Most of the losses are attributed to the data breach last year and the extended PlayStation outage.
