Ever since rumors started about Microsoft partnering with Nokia last year, the world has been anxiously awaiting the “iPhone killer”. Nokia’s Lumia line arrived, and sales have been good… but not great. At MWC earlier this year, Microsoft unveiled the Lumia 900 (alongside AT&Ts 4GLTE network) which was expected to arrive in early April. This was touted as Microsoft’s first valid iPhone competitor.
The wait is now over and the Lumia 900 arrives at AT&T stores this weekend. The initial purchase price will be $99 with a 2 year contract. This puts the handset in the same price range as Apple’s iPhone 4 (pre-4S model). All the tech sites have been comparing the two and the Lumia wins on paper… but will it win in the real world?
