IDC Anticipates “Slow Growth” For WP7

Last year, IDC made a prediction that Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 (WP7) would be the top mobile OS by 2015. They based most of this on the new (at the time) Microsoft Nokia partnership. The exact words used in teh report are as follows, “Until Nokia speeds the cadence of its smartphone releases or more vendors launch their own Windows Phone-powered smartphones, IDC anticipates slow growth for the operating system.” Really? It almost sounds like they’re reversing themselves now. Is anyone else confused?
