Ubuntu Powered Smartphones Coming This Year?

One of the most popular distributions of Desktop Linux is Ubuntu. This operating system has been praised for its ease of use and intuitive graphical interface. Ubuntu has been adopted by a lot of home and educational users, but has had slower adoptin in the enterprise. However, they may be sitting on a game changer. Earlier today, Ubuntu announced they will be demonstrating a mobile operating system at CES next week. While little details have surfaced yet, the phones are expected to arrive in stores in late 2013 or early 2014. To date, Android is the most popular Linux-based mobile OS. Is this all about to change?
