Wii U Is Not Selling Like Nintendo Hoped

Nintendo unveiled Wii U at the E3 conference in 2011. The console arrived in stores in November, and got a few good reviews… but not received the press of the XBox series or the original Wii. December was the first full month of sales for the new console. It also happens to be one of the best months for electronics sales. So, how did the Wii U do? Not great. In fact, Nintendo actually more original Wii consoles than they did Wii U controllers. Yikes! That’s not a good start.
