Wii U Update Released… No Performance Boost

Nintendo released Wii U in November of 2012. Though everyone was anxious to see the new platform, sales have been sluggish. Many users complained of poor performance and other complained about a lack of game titles. Nintendo promised a performance update was coming this year. Today, a Wii U update was released… but unfortunately it was not the performance update users had been waiting for. This update only addresses minor bugs and adds a couple user interface settings. However, Nintendo did say the performance update will be released by October of this year (almost one year after the console’s initial release).
