Zynga Sues Over “With Friends” Trademark

Zynga, the software company who brought you Farmville, Words with Friends, Running with Friends, and many other titles, is suing Bang with Friends Inc. for copyright infringement related to the “with Friends” verbiage. Yes, that was a very confusing sentence. I’ll state it more clearly. Zynga feels they have trademarked the words “with Friends” in app titles. Another software firm has created and app called Bang with Friends, and Zynga is not happy. As the name implies, Bang with Friends is intended to get users together for the purpose of casual sex. It will be entertaining to see how this lawsuit plays out. icon smile Zynga Sues Over With Friends Trademark
