Mobile Websites Fueled Strong Black Friday Sales

With Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, the 2013 holiday shopping season is in full swing. As the latest sales figures are trickling in, a definite trend is becoming visible. Marketing firm Branding Brand found that smartphone-enabled websites saw a 187% increase in sales from 2012 to 2013. Wow! It’s clear that more and more Americans are using their phones to shop for holiday gifts. The same study also found that about 2/3 of the sales were coming from iOS devices. I guess iPhone users really like to shop from their phones. Who knew?
