Nintendo Admits Wii U Is A Flop

Nintendo’s long awaited follow up to the Wii console arrived in late 2012. After the 2012 holiday season, it appear the device was not selling as well as everyone had hoped. Unfortunately the 2013 holiday season was equally unkind to Nintendo. Today, the gaming firm officially announced that Wii U is a flop. Their profits are down and the company is predicting a sizable operating loss (around $335 million) for the year. Ouch!
