Will The Surface Pro 4 Ship With Windows 10?

Microsoft’s next tablet, the Surface Pro 4, is expected to arrive in early 2015. It is also expected to be slightly larger than the current Surface Pro 3. Analysts are expected the Pro 4 to have a screen size between 14″ and 15″ opposed to the current 12″ form factor. However, this may not be the only change. More recent rumors suggest that is will ship with Windows 10 pre-installed.

When Windows 10 was publicly demonstrated back in October, the release date was thought to be in April of 2015. However, the Surface Pro 4 is expected in early 2015 (inferring Q1), so Windows 10 may be arriving earlier than originally thought. Or perhaps Microsoft will install Windows 10 on tablets but the retail version will not arrive until April. It’s difficult to say, but one way or another, Microsoft has big plans for the new year.
