Kansas City To Install 1000 EV Charging Stations

Kansas City Power & Light (KCPL), the major energy provider in the city of Kansas City, has unveiled details about a plan to install over 1,000 charging stations throughout the city. These stations will each have the capability to charge multiple Electric Vehicles (EV) like the Nissan Leaf. All together, the total charging capacity of all the stations will be around 10,000 vehicles. The project is expected to be completed this summer.
