Rumor: New AppleTV Coming At WWDC

As we move into the second quarter, Apple fans start gossiping about what’s coming at the company’s annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). The event will take place in June and many analysts are predicting a new AppleTV will be released during the conference. It’s possible that the updated device will include Siri support and an architecture upgrade. Additionally, the app store is expected to be updated including an SDK which will allow developers to integrate with AppleTV like they do iOS. Many have also suspected 4K UltraHD support, but newer rumors say that probably won’t happen. More rumors include new finishes (like the new Macbooks) and a possible redesigned touchscreen remote (shown above). In any case, Apple’s set-top box is about due for an overhaul.
