DxO Labs Unveils ONE Camera

DxO Labs has been manufacturing digital photographic software for over a decade. However, the company just announced their first hardware-based product, the DxO ONE. This device is essentially a 20 megapixel point and shoot digital camera… wait for it… that hooks to your iOS device via the Lightning port. While it is possible to use the camera without an iPhone or iPad, it has no viewfinder and limited internal storage. Detached, the DxO ONE is just 3.8 oz and fits nicely in your pocket. The devices features include a 11.9mm f1.8 lens, ISO settings from 100-51200, and shutter speeds from 1/8000 – 15 seconds. It integrates with the camera app on your phone/tablet to add new dimensions to your photography. They are available for pre-order now at a cost of $599.
