Rumor: New iPod Touch Coming In September

Apple updated the iPod Touch back in 2012 at the same event which released the iPhone 5. Since then, the handheld device has remained static… and the sales have steadily declined. Nobody wants to pay $199 for an iPod Touch when an iPhone 5S costs half that amount. however, this may change when Apple updates the iPod Touch line this fall.

Reportedly, the company is planning some major updates to the mobile device which will include 2 size options (4.7″ and 5.5″) and upgraded internals. Additionally, the new iPod is expected to tether with the iPhone (similar to the Apple Watch) and include Siri. Will this be enough to reignite sales or is the iPod dead?
