Microsoft Releases Cortana Beta For Android

When Apple released the iPhone 4S, they unveiled a new digital assistant known as Siri. Since then, a number of similar software programs have arrived on various platforms. Microsoft’s equivalent, Cortana, is actually one of the better voice recognition platforms. Up until this week, Cortana was only available on Windows Phone 8.1 and later. However, Microsoft recently released a beta version for Android-powered devices. This is not Microsoft’s first move to support Android either. Their popular Office 365 and OneDrive apps have already been ported to Android. There are rumblings of Cortana for iOS, but nothing has been confirmed.
